Why Port Canaveral?

Port Canaveral is a passive man made harbor.  This means there is no heavy fast tide flow in or out of this inlet.  This makes Port Canaveral the safest inlet on the East Coast. Cruise ships, submarines, and all types of other ships use this very safe harbor.  Located on the southern boundary of the Kennedy Space Center and only 45 minutes from Orlando.

The Ocean

The water depth off Port Canaveral is shallow and drops off slowly.  We usually run about 13 to 20 miles before we start fishing, but there are days when 1 mile is enough for fantastic fishing.  The ocean is ever changing and every day is different.   Bring your camera.  Porpoise, turtles, whales, and birdlife are common sights; as well as an ocean view of the Kennedy Space Center launch facilities.

The Fish

Kingmackeral, dolphin, wahoo, tuna, cobia, sailfish, marlin, tarpon, grouper, snapper, and many other species, are all available out of Port Canaveral.  Some are seasonal while some are here all year.  All standard fishing trips include fishing license, bait, ice, tackle, custom rods/reels and instructions if necessary.
